Individuals with moderate and severe cold hypersensitivity had 49% and 89% higher odds of developing varicose veins, respectively, while those reporting heavy legs showed a fourfold increased risk (OR 4.239). Participants with both severe cold hypersensitivity and heavy legs faced over seven times the risk (OR 7.135).

These findings underscore the importance of incorporating sensory symptoms into early diagnostic assessments for venous insufficiency, particularly in patients without arterial disease.
