Findings will identify effective strategies and barriers addressed through education, enhancing patient engagement and clinical outcomes.

To assess the prevalence of atrial fibrillation (AF) in patients admitted with recurrent stroke at Caritas Hospital a cross-sectional study will be conducted and associated clinical and demographic factors will be analysed. Diagnostic data, including ECG and Holter monitoring, will be analyze to identify gaps in AF management. Findings will guide targeted interventions to improve stroke outcomes through enhanced AF detection and more aggressive & preventive care.

Findings will guide strategies such as provider training, improved infrastructure, and public awareness to enhance AF diagnosis and reduce stroke risks.

Demographics, risk scores, comorbidities, and follow-up data will be analyzed from Electronic health records to identify gaps aiming to enhance stroke prevention practices.
