FFRCT-Guided Strategy Cuts Mortality and MACE in Revascularization
11 Apr 2025 • Coronary CT-derived fractional flow reserve (FFRCT) enhances long-term outcomes in patients undergoing revascularization for suspected obstructive coronary artery disease (OCAD).
Among patients who underwent Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) or Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG), those guided by FFRCT (45.1%) experienced a significant reduction in all-cause mortality (HR = 0.476).
When FFRCT became integrated into Heart-Team decisions, its use further reduced major adverse cardiovascular events (MACE) (HR = 0.610) and mortality (HR = 0.285).
