Dr. Naveed Sattar

Professor of Metabolic Medicine at the University of Glasgow's Institute of Cardiovascular & Medical Sciences and an Honorary Consultant in Metabolic Medicine at the Glasgow Royal Infirmary. he is a leading expert in diabetes and cardio-vascular disease research. Since 2014, he has been an ISI Highly Cited Researcher. He was named a fellow of the Academy of Medical Sciences in 2016. He is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists, Glasgow's Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons, and the Royal Society of Edinburgh.
