India Faces High Depression Rates Among Acne Patients, Reaching 53%

  • Depression affects 22% of acne patients worldwide, with Asia reporting the highest rates, particularly in India (53%) and Saudi Arabia (51%).
  • Anxiety is also prevalent, affecting 30% of acne sufferers, with Singapore (60%) and Iran (58%) showing the highest numbers.

These findings emphasize the need for greater awareness of the psychological impact of acne, particularly in India, where mental health issues are disproportionately high.
