AI could expand access to essential services and lower their cost, but who benefits, who pays and who bears the risk when it gets things wrong? This cross-industry panel brings together Chip Purrington (formerly of Fidelity) with co-moderators Janak Joshi and Dr. Purav Gandhi. They apply lessons from fintech on interoperability, sensitive data, risk profiling, trust and accountability to healthcare, and ask why health data still does not move as easily as money.

In an era defined by data-driven decision-making and accelerated innovation, the convergence of real-world evidence, AI, clinical research, and emerging science has never been more critical.

RISE 2026 unites visionaries and change-makers from around the world across seven disciplines – Real-World Evidence, AI & Automation, Clinical Trials & Research, Cell & Gene Therapy, Regulatory Science, Indian Healthcare, and Global Capability Centers. Together, we spark collaborative thinking across domains and accelerate the transformation of healthcare through the power of science, evidence, and innovation.
