The PRISM Oncology 2026 – Multiple Myeloma Final Presentations bring together four shortlisted researchers at the culmination of their PRISM research and mentorship journey. Through the Live Jury round, participants will present their mentored projects addressing important real-world questions and evidence gaps in multiple myeloma care.
The session features:
- Dr. Iffat Jamal – Effects of Bortezomib-based regimens on hematological and biochemical parameters including electrophoretic patterns in patients with Multiple Myeloma: A single-centre experience from Eastern India.
- Dr. Bijita Dutta – Optimizing the Prevention of Skeletal-Related Events in Multiple Myeloma: A Retrospective Study on Use of Osteoclast Inhibitors.
- Dr. Nithiya Piriya – Real-World Outcomes of Bortezomib, Lenalidomide and Dexamethasone (VRD) in Multiple Myeloma in a Resource-Limited Setting.
- Dr. Farzana Siddiqui – Clinicopathological Correlation of Bone Marrow Morphology, Serum Protein Electrophoresis and Biochemical Parameters in Patients with Multiple Myeloma: A Retrospective Case Series.
Spanning themes such as treatment response and tolerability, skeletal-related event prevention, clinicopathological assessment, and real-world treatment delivery, these studies highlight important challenges and evidence gaps in multiple myeloma care in India.
Evaluated by a distinguished jury of clinical and research experts, the session will provide participants with valuable scientific feedback, encourage critical scientific discussion, and showcase research with the potential to contribute to clinically relevant evidence from Indian practice.
