Real-world data is becoming more multimodal, more global and more tightly regulated. This panel brings together leaders from Segmed, Lighten and Genevault, moderated by Janak Joshi, to discuss the practical realities of combining imaging, clinical and genomic data. Topics include managing consent, traceability and data provenance across borders, how evolving regulation affects cost and complexity, and where the biggest RWD opportunities lie over the next two to three years.

The Real-World Data Landscape: Now and Next

At Healthark, we are proud to host the third edition of RISE Health Innovation Summit 2026 - formerly RWEsearch & Health Innovation Summit - a dedicated platform for stakeholders across the life sciences ecosystem to engage in high-quality dialogue, learning, and action. In an era defined by data-driven decision-making and accelerated innovation, the convergence of real-world evidence, AI, clinical research, and emerging science has never been more critical.

RISE 2026 unites visionaries and change-makers from around the world across seven disciplines – Real-World Evidence, AI & Automation, Clinical Trials & Research, Cell & Gene Therapy, Regulatory Science, Indian Healthcare, and Global Capability Centers. Together, we spark collaborative thinking across domains and accelerate the transformation of healthcare through the power of science, evidence, and innovation.

RISE Health Innovation Summit 2026 - Day 1

RISE RWEsearch Hall

The session on real-world imaging data (RWiD) highlighted how imaging had become an increasingly valuable resource for healthcare innovation. Speakers described applications across oncology, cardiology, and neurology, where imaging data had helped refine diagnosis and treatment strategies.

At the same time, challenges such as accessibility, integration, and data quality were acknowledged. By presenting both opportunities and barriers, the session painted a balanced picture of how RWiD could support real-world impact while requiring continued investment and collaboration.
