The Koch's spine exhibits the most prevalent type of subchondral bone involvement, known as paradiscal, on either side of the disc due to the artery supply of the vertebra. The other kinds of involvement include creation of- nonosseous abscess, central, which results in vertebral body loss, posterior, which involves posterior appendicular structures. When someone has TB, their body develops granulomatous inflammation marked by lymphocytic infiltration and epithelioid cells. These cells may combine to create the typical Langhans-type giant cells and lead to caseating necrosis of the affected tissues, which eventually forms a cold abscess.
