Novice clinicians can accurately estimate gestational age using this low-cost, battery-powered ultrasound probe with integrated AI.

Compared to traditional methods by credentialed sonographers, the AI-enabled device achieved equivalent accuracy, differing by just 0.2 days.

These findings have immediate implications for obstetrical care in low-resource settings, advancing the World Health Organization goal of ultrasonography estimation of GA for all pregnant people.
