Young-Onset Dementia Rates Spike Globally; Women Face Greater Vulnerability

According to the 2021 Global Burden of Disease Study, new cases have surged by 128%, and deaths and disability-adjusted life years (DALYs) linked to dementia in this age group have also risen significantly—119.28% and 119.77%, respectively.
Additionally, females <70 years bore a higher burden of dementia globally, and gender differences are still widening.
