CAPA IVM is an inexpensive, drug-free IVF procedure that requires only a few injections and has no negative side effects. CAPA IVM offers a considerably safer and more convenient path to motherhood for women with PCOS, patients with cancer who require prompt treatment (IVF is a two-week process and is therefore not suited), resistant ovary syndrome, thrombophilia, and oocyte maturation issues. In conventional IVF, the woman receives hormone injections for 10 to 15 days to promote the production of additional eggs. Contrarily, CAPA IVM uses just 2-3 injections since only immature oocytes are removed from the woman patient and are then matured in the lab using a two-step maturation method, which reduces the number of injections.
