The findings underscored a stark increase in cardiovascular morbidity and mortality in PWE.
Key findings revealed a marked elevation in the incidence of all-cause death, cardiovascular death, heart failure, ischaemic stroke, ventricular arrhythmias, and cardiac arrest among PWE.
Targeting cardiovascular health could help reduce excess morbidity and mortality in PWE.
