Study Reveals Midlife NAFLD Severity and Late-Life AST Levels Impact Dementia Risk

  • Late-life NAFLD showed no significant association with dementia.
  • Low alanine aminotransferase was linked to elevated dementia risk, particularly when measured in late life.
