Persistent Prediabetes Raises Gallbladder Cancer Risk by 21% - Reversal May Help

Following individuals for an average of 6.4 years, researchers found that those with persistent prediabetes had a 21% higher risk of developing GBC compared to those with stable normoglycemia.
Remarkably, participants who achieved prediabetes remission exhibited no heightened GBC risk, highlighting the importance of early intervention.
