RA Increases Bronchiectasis Risk, Especially in Seropositive Patients

- Analyzing data from 50,651 RA patients over nearly 4.3 years, the findings have indicated that individuals with RA faced a 2.12-fold higher risk of bronchiectasis compared to controls.
- Furthermore, the risk soared to 2.34-fold for seropositive RA patients, while seronegative RA patients encountered a 1.56-fold increase.
- This highlights the importance of vigilant respiratory monitoring in RA patients.
