Sedentary behaviors can be accumulated in various life domains like leisure time, transport, and work/study environments. A cross-sectional study involving 584 participants was conducted to examine associations between sedentary behavior in different domains and psychological outcomes.

Results showed that leisure-time SB negatively affected psychological well-being in younger adults, while occupational SB was linked to lower satisfaction and mental quality of life in adults. Targeted strategies are needed to reduce SB and improve well-being based on age group.
