• As per study findings published in JAMA Cardiology, the de-escalation strategy was found to be a safe and reasonable option for acute MI patients with high ischemic risk.
• The unguided de-escalation strategy demonstrated consistent outcomes in ischemic & bleeding events compared to ticagrelor-based DAPT.
• There was no significant interaction in outcomes between high & non-high ischemic risk groups.
