5 Jun, 3:30 PM
Description
Polysomnography (PSG) is a diagnostic test for sleep-related breathing disorders, and it is also used in conjunction with the clinical history and other tests to diagnose a variety of additional sleep disorders, including narcolepsy, sleep-related movement disorders, and certain parasomnias. This discussion aims to provide an overview of the performance of in-laboratory PSG in adults with suspected sleep disorders. Dr. Saili Bendre, an expert in respiratory diagnostics and sleep medicine, joins us LIVE on Medflix to further our understanding of how polysomnography (PSG) functions as a key diagnostic tool in the assessment of sleep disorders, how it is carried out, and how to interpret the results.
