Using Plugins and GPTs (part 1)
Summary
In this video, we aim to enhance your ChatGPT experience by introducing GPTs, following the phase-out of plugins due to the overwhelming success of these pre-configured assistants. GPTs function similarly to apps on a Play Store, allowing you to automate repetitive tasks and interact with external websites and plugins. Both free and paid ChatGPT accounts can access GPTs, with OpenAI gradually rolling out this feature to all free users. You'll also learn how to create and publish your own GPTs, with future monetization options planned for popular creations. We review various GPTs, highlighting their mixed performance but showcasing useful examples like Consensus and Scholar AI for research, Whimsical Diagrams for visualizations, and Canva for image generation.
